Rayon is obtained from cellulose by .... as we know cellulose is found in wood pulp so in this process, cellulose is first broken and then reformed and by this process only rayon is very strong... and also rayon is obtained through chemical treatment of naturally occurring cellulose so it is neither fully synthetic fibre nor fully natural fibre.... and as it resembles.. silk in its appearance so it is called artificial silk..
