I was a brilliant student till class 8th. I was appreciated by my teachers and friends for scoring highest marks in almost all exams. I was also good in sports and was a team member of the school cricket team. But things took a turn when I moved to class 9. I met with an accident and had to be hospitalized. I was admitted for three months. There was a serious injury on my right hand and it became impossible for me to write or do my daily chores with my hand. I felt shattered as I became dependent on someone for every little thing. I was told that there was little possibility that my hand would start working normal in the future days. I lost confidence. But then, one of my teachers came to meet me. I always had a strong connect with all my teachers. He made me understand that struggle is a part of life. He gave me all the emotional support that I needed at that time. His words had a strong impact on me. I gathered courage to take the challenge. I knew that things were difficult but I stood up to fight back. In just a span of 15 days, I felt much better. My condition improved drastically.
