How reproduction in hydra different from binary fission?

because a small part of the body of a parent organisms grows out as a bud which then detaches and become a new organisms

Hydra is reproduce by budding in which the bud is form but the amoeba is reproduce by binary fission in that the genetic metarial is replicated.
