rhizobium fixes nitrogen after establishing in roots.
rhizobium needs a plant host to fix nitrogen.
rhizobium can't fix nitrogen directly.

✅It takes up nitrogen from soil like mangrove trees and the part which takes up the nitrogen is called rhizobium(present in the roots) which fixes nitrogen in leguminous plant...
