Human beings are responsible for pollution. we pollute the river in different ways. It increases in day by day. The main cause of river pollution are:-

Industrial waste:- Industries produces large amount of waste which contains toxic chemicals and pollutants such as Mercury, sulfur etc..... Most of the industries doses not have proper waste management. Drain the waste directly to the fresh water such as river, Lake etc....

. sewage and waste:- sewage and waste water products from household is directly released to the fresh water.

. Dumping:- hour hold waste such as plastic glass, clothes etc..... are directly dumped into river cause water get to pollute.
