there are many differences in ruminants and human beings some of them are as follows
1) ruminants have the tendancy to bring back the swallowed food into the mouth and rechew is for digestion
humans cannot bring back the food for chewing
2 )ruminants consists of an 4 chambered stomach which includes the Rumen ,Reticulum,omassum and the abomassum
humans have different organs for digestion the do not have chambers
3)In a ruminant it takes 70 to 100 hours in the process of digestion
in humans it takes 2 to 24 hours
