Science is a process because the scientific method makes ANY hypothesis (or theory) open to be proven against. ... Science is a product because without those historic steps, a YET MORE COMPLEX IDEA couldnt have appear. Example: without Newton's laws of motion, Einstein would have nothing to build upon.

The scientific method is about looking at the world. Developing a falsifiable hypothesis and testing it. Publishing it, so everyone can repeat it.

After testing we get a result, and you can call that a product. But as we develop more technologies we can use that and discover that our result was out in someway.
