how self-concept is destroyed

Explanation:

If a confident person and a person who lacks self confidence were to exchange their minds without exchanging their memories then within few weeks the the person who was self confident will lose his self confidence and the one who lacked self confidence will have a high self esteem.

The moral of this example is simple, people don't lack self confidence because they are bad or inadequate but they lose their confidence gradually as a result of the destructive thoughts that run in their minds.

In the Solid Self confidence program i said that two different people could experience the same exact situation and as a result one of them feels ashamed and loses a bit of his self confidence while the other feels nothing.

Self confidence is destroyed by negative self talk, incorrect interpretation of events,

limiting beliefs about one's self and incorrect thinking patterns.

That's why the confident guy will lose his self esteem after exchanging minds with the guy who lacked confidence. Notice that they didn't exchange memories of past events, of rejections or of bad situations they have been through but they only exchanged their way of thinking!!
