Gene sequence in the DNA undergo a process called transcription to produce RNAs.
These single stranded RNAs undergo a process called as translation to produce proteins.
The RNAs are single stranded and made up of several codons. These codons are very essential in bring about the arrangement of amino acid in a protein. The codon is triplet,non-overlapping and specific in nature.
Based on the codons in the RNA , respective amino acids are arranged.
The arrangement of amino acids are protein specific.
