when the male reproductive organ fuse with with the female reproductive organ there is a fusion of male gamete with the female gamete ie. when sperms fuse with the egg fertilisation takes place inside the female body as the fertilized egg is called zygote.This zygote develops into an embryo,which again develops into foetus.

Foetus is the stage at which all the body parts are recognisable.
