How shiwaliks are different from himachal and himadri ranges???

the outermost range of himalayas is called as the shiwalik

it exteds over a width of 10 to50 n have an altitude varrying between 900 n 1100 mtrs

these ranges are composed of unconsolidated sediments brought down by rivers from the main himalayan ranges located farrther north. these valleys are covered with thick alluvium andgravel

dehradun , kotlidun,patlidun,are some of the well known duns
