oh wow this is a great question! i write songs and i absolutely love it! first, u have to pick a genre, i.e. either rock, sad songs, pop, love, etc.. and think a little deep on it. try imagining things, put urself into situations, write down all the thoughts and feelings u can imagine..i hope it helps:)
