Here is ur answer dude .....pls mark my answer as brainliest answer....

1) Study history.  You cannot change the future without a firm understanding of the past.  Thus, being a responsible citizen demands a firm grasp of history.  And, in the age of the Internet, there is no excuse for the ignorance of so many adults.  Read a book.  Watch a film.  Take a class.  Learn about our culture in all of its splendor and horror so that you can engage in factual conversations and debate.  Again, gain a deeper understanding of where we have been as a country so that you can help inform where we are going next.

2) Grapple with inequality.44% of Americans live in "liquid-asset poverty" which means that nearly 1/2 of Americans are one paycheck away from disaster. This is a terrifying and tragic reality for our nation.  Learn about the depths and effects of inequality facing your community and commit to doing more to reverse it and create economic opportunity for all Americans.

3) Disrupt racism and homophobia. The massacre in South Carolina and the vitriolic backlash regarding the recent Supreme Court decision to legalize same-sex marriage show that we have a long way to go to manifest the inalienable truth that we are all created equal. Don't hide behind your privilege because you are not gay or black.  Stand with others who are suffering by interrupting racist and homophobic remarks. Learn to be an effective ally to others.  We need your powerful witness and action.

4) Pray for all the families of the fallen. Patriots come in all genders, colors, shapes and sizes.  Please pray for our fallen service women and men (and their families) on July 4th.  But also pray for the thousands of innocent men and women, like Senator Pinckney and his beloved congregants who were killed in the struggle.

5) Engage in civil disobedience. If you see something disturbing don't sit still.  Don't let injustice pass without a personal response.  This is not a Marvel comic. No superhero is coming to save us. As the activist, Lisa Sullivan said, "We are the ones we have been waiting for."  A government of the people, by the people, for the people needs all its citizens to be awake, response-able and willing to fight for justice and democracy.

6) Care for the weak and the poor. Nothing is more important in this life than standing for those who cannot stand for themselves.  Make it a daily habit to learn from and give your time, talent, and treasure to those who need you most.

7) Think "we" vs. "me."  We can (literally) no longer afford a parochial consciousness which prizes one people or place or race above another.  As the Great Recession has shown us in a dramatic way - we are interconnected - economically, socially, and morally.  Begin to develop a new consciousness that seeks to understand what is best for the whole community vs. you and yours.  And then begin to act on that consciousness.

Patriotism not only means to go on border and protect the country from external enemies but also protection from internal harmful substances. If one is unable or is fearful to go on border that doesn't mean that he is anti national or is not patriotic. One can display one's patriotism by not hurting the country. This could be done by not speaking against the country or its pace of development and by not letting others too. This can also be done by not spoiling the beauty of the country, by not abusing its citizens, by not wasting its resources. In this way u could be called as a real patriotic.
