How should I greet a Muslim on the occasion of Muharram (no idea if he is Shia or Sunni)? Would 'Muharram mubarak' do?

The festival of Muharram is not a festival that is to be celebrated.

This is a time in the Islamic calendar when they mourn for their prophet and his companions who were in fight to save Islam.

The suni muslims do not mourn in Muharram whereas as the others do.
