History
Read it as a story. Imagine that you are watching a film. As we remember the names of characters in a film, learn the names of prominent personalities likewise.
You should learn the important dates. That's one thing you will have to cram.
2. Geography
In your mind, place a map of India. Try to visualise it when you study anything in geography.
If you study carefully then you can see that some regions collectively have certain common characteristics. For example if you have to write about any coal mine, you should write about the states of central India, the ones located on the Deccan plateau. Most of our mineral resources are either in this region or in Rajasthan.
3. Economics
Make notes about all the schemes launched by our government and understand them. You will have to learn all the abbreviations.
Also learn the definition of important topics, like minimum support price (MSP).
4. Civics
This subject requires cramming. I did the same. One can easily understand the things, but when it comes to writing we tend to forget points to write about.
While attempting SST paper, make sure you write your answers in points. You can break a point into two different points when you can't remember a point. The examiners sometimes just look at the number of points.
Hope this helps.
