how should I start preparing for IIT from december of class 9th? What are the main points on which we should focus and how to prevent distraction.?

Hello dear, I would tell you that joining for an IIT coaching in 9th is really imp. It does help for ur academic as well if Ur in CBSC.
The ways to stay focused:
i) Wake up early in the morning for a revision instead of a night study.
ii) Keep a particular time to use phone and other gadgets, don't use during study time.
iii) Staying physically healthy is imp. So do some physical activity.
iv).Write notes of what you study then and there in an understandable language.
v) Last one, Do go through all previous year papers and practice a lot!
One last tip which my granny had given me, Have 4-5 soaked almonds for a great memory power.
