just give minimum two hours for it just sit alone without any disturbance. and just keep a bottle of water with you and concentrate on your studies.and stay away from tv also.

Always remember social science as a story. Imagine your charecter in the story. If you want to remember names of many places or countries at once write down first letter of each place and then make a meaningful word that you will surely remember. No need of studing 3 to 4 hrs just study for 2 hrs with full focus away from any other destruction. This is what I did in my 10 std
