i) Store magnet at room temperature as at temperature > curie temperature demagnetize it.

ii) Magnets must be prevented from mechanical shock as can break due to brittle nature.

iii) In horse-shoe, store end to end in bar magnet, opposite poles together to prevent demagnetization and Wood is placed in between two parallel magnets to prevent them as the magnets are brittle and can break easily on shock.
