How do you conduct yourself? Do you conduct yourself as the person who created your current results, or do you conduct yourself as the person living your dream?
So often, we think we have to wait before everything works out before we can act a certain way, before we can be more loving, more generous, more courageous or creative.
It is the very act of conducting ourselves as the men and women already living our desired outcome that generates the ideas, magnetizes the opportunities and supports and increases our ability to recognize the gold that is already here.
Napoleon Hill tells us, “Conduct yourself just as you would if you were ALREADY IN POSSESSION OF THE MATERIAL THING WHICH YOU ARE DEMANDING…”
People who live the kind of life you dream of conduct themselves differently. You may ask how would you know how to act like that person if you are not living that life yet?
Ask that part of you who does know. You could not have the image or the idea if there was not that in you who already knew. But there are a couple of conditions before that part of you will talk with you.
First you have to be willing to give up certain aspects of how you conduct yourself now and you have to want to be that person living your dream.
That may seem like a no-brainer, but just get curious to see if you have any resistance to letting old behavior patterns go. We become very attached to our old ways of acting and being. But that is why you keep your dream in the forefront of your mind. It is the love for your dream life, for the expanded abundance, joy and contribution that propels you into an even greater version of you. It is the image of this life and this even better version of you that gives you want you need to let go of old, obsolete conduct to claim your new, more empowered conduct.
