Benjamin Tillman was a great person in an American politician of the Democratic Party.

He was United States senator from 1895 until he died in 1918. Tillman led a new group of parliamentary of red shirts in South Carolina elections. Tillman was also known as "Pitchfork Ben" because of his language. Pitchfork means it is an agricultural tool with two or three long lines to lift and pitch.

The first time he loses a chance to become a candidate for democratic nominations after he became known as a virtual oratory. Tillman was repeatedly elected on the elections while serving in the senate if his entire life.
