The MKS system has three base units that measures length maas and time while the International System of Units i.e., SI is a more rationalised version of the MKS system which consists 7 base units , 2 supplementary units , derived units with the base and supplementary units and the number of approved prefixes for the formation of multiples and the sub multiples of the various units.
