1/3x +1/5y =1/15

(5y+3x)/15xy=1/15

5y+3x=xy .......(i)

Also,1/2x +1/3y =1/12

(3y+2x)/6xy =1/12

3y+2x=xy/2

6y+4x=xy ......(ii)

Subtracting (ii) from (i)

6y+4x-5y-3x=0

x+y=0

x=-y

put the value of x in (i)

5y+3(-y)=(-y)y

2y=-y^2

or y =-2

so x=-y =-(-2)=2
