Sound is produced when something's vibrates. In humans, the lung or the pump produces adequate airflow and air pressure to vibrate vocal folds then this air pressure is the fuel of the voice. The vocal folds or say the vocal cords are a vibrating valve that chops up the airflow from the lungs into audible pulses that form the laryngeal sound source.

2. The voice box is suited in our throat at the top of windpipe.
3.human voice box contains two ligaments called vocal cords.
