Propagation of sound is the cause of vibration and it occurs through the process of of compression and refraction. When a source of sound vibrates , it creates a periodic disturbance in the near by medium, that may can be either solid, liquid or gas. The disturbance then or the vibrating sound particles then passes in the nearby medium in the form of wave and travels or propagates through the process of compression and refraction.
