sperm is formed in human body an it takes around 72 days to develop.
- sperm production starts in the brains which monitors testosterone level.
- as the level of testosterone decrease ,hypothalamus begins secreting GnRH ,which flow to pituitary gland which produce LH and FSH.
- LH stimulates leydig cells to secrete testosterone.
- FSH concentrates the testosterone into seminiferous tubule.
- the inner walls of tubules is lined by germ cells which undergo meiosis .
- due to meiosis the parent cell DNA splits into half and rearranges into new cells.
- each of these new cells will become sperm cell.
