First mating season begins at the ending of winter season and second mating season occurs at the ending of the summer season The female squirrel releases some hormones who smell is detected by male squirrel If more than one male comes their then the female squirrel choose the strongest male to mate with him


From that day she will be able to recognize him from that day and will never mate with him again After mating male squirrel leaves he has nothing to do with kittens (baby squirrel)
