Stars form inside relatively dense concentrations of interstellar gas and dust known as molecular clouds. These regions are extremely cold (temperature about 10 to 20K, just above absolute zero). ... Star formation begins when the denser parts of the cloud core collapse under their own weight/gravity.

▶QUESTION:- How stars are formed?

__________________________________________

▶ANSWER:- Stars are formed when a nebulae or collapsing clouds mainly composed of hydrogen and dust particles collapse under its own gravity and form a cellestial body. This body is so dense that the atoms are closer than 0.8 fm and are attracted by the strong nuclear force. This initiates a fusion reaction, combining lighter elements to heavier and releasing tremendous amount if energy. Hence a star is born.
