acid can have their ph value below 0 in negative numerals and the bases may have their value above 14 and more.
the acids having their ph 0 or below than it are also known as strong acids and the bases having their ph 14 or above it are known as strong bases

The range from 0 to 14 gives a measurement of comparative strengthof acid and base solutions. Pure water and other neutral solutions have a pH value of 7. A pH value less than 7 indicates that the solution is acidic, and a pH value greater than 7 indicates that the solution is basic.
