Shahjahan also continued the policy of conquests of Deccan states and succeeded in annexing Ahmadnagar and the kingdoms of Golkanda and Bijapur accept the suzerainty of Mughals and paid tributes to them. Aurangzeb further annexed Golkanda and Bijapur to his Empire.
