Answer: Explanation: surface area - it will increase the rate of evaporation as the surface will be more the diffusion will be also more. wind speed- it will increase the rate of evaporation because it will carry away the maximum water vapour with it and then there will be more space for more water vapour.

Question:-

  • How surface area and wind speed affects the rate of Evaporation?

Answer:-

  • With the increase in surface area, more molecules of the liquid get opportunity to come to the surface and change into vapours.

  • Similarly, with the increase in wind speed, the particles of water vapours present in air move away and the air which replaces it is comparatively dry.

  • This will increase the rate of Evaporation.□
