how surface area of leaves and lungs are important? explain with points(reasons)​

Explanation:

Increased surface area of leaves helps them to increase the efficacy of plants to take in the carbon dioxide ( as CO2 is essential for them to produce glucose i.e. their own food by fixing it.) Similarly the increased leaf surface helps plants to get in contact with sunlight which will then help them for Photosynthesis ( light dependent reaction).

The increased surface area of lungs results in increased no. of alveolar sacs which will help in greater absorption of Oxygen.(remember that our each body cell needs O2 for producing their own energy in the form of ATP by cellular respiration),
