To add a pic when asking a question in brainly, the following steps are.
1) type the question or create a question
And select the attachment icon.
2) select the camera or gallery icon..
3) select the pic u waana ask.
4) done

Its too simple dear .....While your asking your question you will find some symbols as given in the attachment...

Click on the camera if u want to keep insta image but if you you want to post saved image then click on gallery symbol.
