Temples were central to society and economy of that particular regions as they performed a large number of functions to cater the needs of temples and pilgrims, people of different professions came there ,they were pilgrims, Weaver, dancers and many more. This led the growth of town.Such towns are called temple towns Somnath, Mathura, kanchipuram, Madurai were famous temple towns....
