Acceleration due to gravity is same for all objects irrespective of mass. It varies on Earth as, earth is elliptical. Hence, its is more at poles as compared to that of equator. This is because when the radius that is the distance between the two objects (earth and other objects) increses the Force of attraction decreases. This case is same as that of equator, the radius of the earth is more at the equator so force of attraction is less and so the acceleration. But on poles, the radius is comparatively less and so force is more and so the acceleration.
