in high altitude first main problem is unable to inspire req oxygen as outside pressure is very low leading breathing problem
to cope up with this body start form large number of red blood cells (RBC) so that they can take up or bind with Max oxygen. ( that's why they have red cheeks )

apart from this to avoid major heat loss they have short arms and legs

also long noses to ensure Max breathing.
