In a democratic country like India all the politicians need votes in order to come into power, for this purpose they raise social issues like caste, reservation, religion. social status etc. although it is illegal no one is ready to raise voice against them. It leads to division in the society on the basis of caste and religion. 
The main purpose of the politicians is to gain votes by raising such kind of issues. It is also said that the Indian freedom struggle was total falsification.
