firstly you have to know that winds are three types:-

1) permanent winds

2)temporary winds

3)local winds

permanent winds- these winds are permanent or flow all the 12 months.

temporary winds:-these winds are not permanent, or flow in particular period of time.

polar winds :-winds which flow in polar regions are known as polar winds.

example of permanent winds- easterlise, westerlise, trade winds.

example of temporary winds:- mansoon winds, loo, etc

local winds example :- chinook, ec
