How is cloud formed?

Clouds are formed by a process called condensation. When warm and moist air rises up, it cools and then expands in the atmosphere. Now, as we know that cool air can't hold as much water vapour as warm air can, so some of the vapour condenses into tiny pieces of dust that floats in the air and forms tiny droplets around each dust particle. When billions of these droplets come together, they collide and sticks with each other, to form a condensation nuclei which includes aerosols such as salts and dusts. These then turn up to form the basis clouds.

Hope it helps...:-)
