Whenever a decision is taken by the elected government ,it is based on the majority support. But if in any case the decision proved to be wrong then the opposition parties began to oppose the decision,and the elected party have to make certain amendments in that to prove themselves right.

If the public is not satisfied with the elected government then they have the power to raise their voice and demand for the change in the functioning or even they can demand for re-election also. Hence democracy allow us to correct own mistakes.
