Density is one of the most important physical characteristics of a substance.

For choosing the material for building ships and aircrafts we should keep in mind about the density of the building material.

Because, a lower density building material can make the ship or aircraft less damage resistant and on the other hand, a higher density building material can increase the weight of the ship/aircraft which is not at all preferable.

That's why craftsman always look for rigid but medium density holding materials for building industrial scale planes and ships.

For this reason,the density plays a great role in the manufacturing process of the aircrafts and ships.
