small intestine is the site of complete digestion of carbohydrates, fats, protein

so for digestion it receives secretions of pancreas and livers, the food coming from the stomach is acidic so it has to be made alkaline for the pancreatic enzymes to act, so liver secretes bile juice for this

  • bile juice breaks down fat globules into smaller globules
  • it makes the medium alkaline
  • it activates the actions of pancreatic enzymes

pancreas releases enzymes such as

  • trpsin - for digestion of ptoteins
  • p.amylase-for digestion of starch
  • p.lipase-for digestion of fats

•all the carbohydrates is converted into starch, protein into amino acids, and fats into fatty acid and glycerol

now digested food is taken up by walls of intestines, the walls of intestine are supllied with blood vessles so that it can take the food to each and every cells of our body and undigested food is sent to large intestine

Answer:

Explanation: DIGESTION IN MOUTH : mouth contains saliva which secrete a enzyme called salivary amalyse which act on starch and convert it into sugar called maltose.

DIGESTION IN STOMACH: the enzyme pepsin converts protein into smaller molecules called peptones .

DIGESTION IN SMALL INTESTINE:

Small intestine is the place where complete digestion of carbohydrates ,fats , protein take place .

In the small intestine secretion like the bile from liver and pancreatic juices .

Bile makes the medium alkaline necessary for the action of pancreatic enzymes.

Bile converts large fat globules to smaller fat globules called emulsification making it easy for enzyme to act on it for digestion.

Pancreatic juice contain enzyme trypsin for digestion of protein , amalyse for the digestion of carbohydrates, lipase for the digestion of fats .

Intestinal juice secrete s enzyme where complete digestion of carbohydrates into glucose , protein into amino acid and fats into fatty acid and glycerol take place.
