Digestive Enzymes, No matter what specific foods we eat, our diets are composed of protein, fat and carbohydrates. Digestive enzymesbreak down protein, carbohydrates and fats into progressively smaller components. Enzyme supplements normally contain amylase, protease and lipase.

enzymes are the ones that help in making the intaken food ,simplify and digest it to give power supply to the body and perfect functioning.

some of the enzymes that help are:
HCL (hydrochloric acid) ,mucous and pepsin are secreted by the gastric glandsin stomach.
they help in :

the HCL provides a acidic medium for other enzymes to act.the mucous protects the inner lining of the stomach from HCl and pepsin acts with proteins to form peptons,

                 proteins
pepsin ------------------> peptons

in small intestine,
 some ancreatic juices ,t
rypsin ,amylase and lipase from liver and pancreas,
bile juice etc.

they help in:

The pancreas secretes the pancreatic juice that helps to digest carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
 The pancreatic juice converts,

 carbohydrates         ----> simple sugars
 glucose, proteins    ---->amino acids, and
  fats                            ----> fatty acids and glycerol.

important of all,the bile juice secreted from small intestine.

its functions include:

->it creates an alakaline medium for other live and pancreatic juices to act on.
-> there will be fat globules present on the small intestine that can be hard to break down and to digest.so bile enzyme does the work of emulsifying the fat globules.

hope it helps!!!!
