How the direction of rotation of dc shunt motor can be reversed?

To reverse the motor direction, current through the armature OR the field (not both) must be reversed, so the A2 lead may be connected to the F2 lead (for example) to reverse the current flow through the armature only. ... By interchanging leads of either the field winding or the Armature winding.
