The following conversion known as Propene to propan-1-ol can be carried out according to the following conditions.  

The chemical reaction of this conversion is given below. It includes:

CH3CH = CH2  CH3CH2CH2Br  CH3CH2CH2OH

It is significant to know that the Propene is reacted with Peroxide/HBr.

The formed solution is then reaction with Aq.KOH in the hydrolysis process.

It helps us to get propan-1-ol.
