Let us take the value of 'a' as 1 and 'b' as 2

(a+b)² = a² + 2ab + b²

(1+2)² = (1)² + 2(1)(2) + (2)²

(3)² = 1+4+4

9=9

Therefore, we can conclude that

(a+b)² = a² + 2ab + b²

Step-by-step explanation:

( {a + b})^{2}  \\ (a + b)(a + b) \\ a(a + b) + b(a + b) \\  {a}^{2}  + ab + ba +  {b}^{2}  \\  {a}^{2}  + ab + ab +  {b}^{2}  \\  {a}^{2}  + 2ab +  {b}^{2}
