how the gases exchange take place in aquatic amphibins and terrestrial organism ?

some small living creatures like amoeba , hydra exchange the gases to the cell membrane and in aquatic animals exchange the gases done over by  their gills , in terrestrial living creatures deals their exchange of gases with the help of their lungs , while in amphibions the trade of gases done over by the lungs and also through their skins .
