➡️☕️✨️Men determine the sex of a baby depending on whether their sperm is carrying an X or Y chromosome. An X chromosome combines with the mother's X chromosome to make a baby girl (XX) and a Y chromosome will combine with the mother's to make a boy (XY).

Sex determination?

➡️Most mammals, including humans, have an XY sex-determination system: the Y chromosome carries factors responsible for triggering male development. In the absence of a Y chromosome, the fetus will undergo female development.

There is XX chromosome in female sex cell ( ova ) and XY chromosome in male sex cell ( sperm ) . When sperm and ova fuse then the chromosome which merge can be XX and XY . If it is XX then there will be a baby girl . If it is XY then there will be a baby boy.
