Solar energy absorbed at Earth's surface is radiated back into the atmosphere as heat. As the heat makes its way through the atmosphere and back out to space, greenhouse gases absorb much of it. ... \huge\blue {Here is Your answer:}

A greenhouse is a building that is heated with solar radiation, such that it can stay warm even during cold days of winter. Light from the Sun passes through the glass roof to heat plants and the ground inside the greenhouse. Thermal energy is trapped in the greenhouse, keeping the building warm.
