How the Indian democracy different from other countries democracy

democracy is the form of government in which people themselves select their rulers and Indian democracy other countries democracy because in other government forms such as monarchy ,dictatorship or one party rule all citizens are not required to take part in political . in fact most nondemocratic government would never like citizens to take part in political .But democracy basically depends on active political participation by all the citizens .
