  • Rainfall is seasonal and unpredictable but irrigation ensures regular supply of water and is reliable .

  • Silt carried through irrigation channel and hence is fertility of soil .

The ways by which irrigation is affected by nature of Crops are as follows :-

1) It all depends on the crop how much amount is required for the crop to grow.

It's itself the condition of growing of crop. or may very with crop to crop

2) Excess of water may ruin complete crop or scarsity may reduce its growth.

3) Area dependent, depends on the area is growing,Also, some area have less water so less amount or less water aksed crops are grown.

4) Seasion is also, a way to find out the type of crop grown, like Rabi and Kharif, these two differ in the types of water needs.

5) Also,as already told much irrigation and less irrigation will effect the crop type.
